Helga Reidel is President and Chief Executive Officer of ENWIN Utilities Ltd., and the ENWIN Group of Companies, and is an executive with more than 30 years of progressively responsible experience in the public and private sectors. Past positions include Chief Administrative Officer/ City Manager for the City of Windsor, Vice President of the Windsor Detroit Tunnel Corporation, and Vice President of Finance for Windsor Family Credit Union. She has also held management positions with the Greater Essex County District School Board, Hiram Walker & Sons Ltd. and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Helga is currently a member of the Board of Governors of the University of Windsor, the Board of Directors of the Windsor Public Library, the Board of Directors for United Way/Centraide Windsor-Essex County and is a Founding member and Treasurer of the Detroit/Windsor/Toledo Arm of the Private Directors Association. Past appointments have included positions on the Board of Directors of the Ontario Municipal Administrators’ Association, the University of Windsor Mediation Services Board, the Ontario Labour Relations Secretariat’s Employer Advisory Committee, Secretary to the Windsor Utilities Commission, and a number of other non-profit and charitable organizations in the Windsor/ Essex Region.
Helga is a graduate of the University of Windsor with Honours Bachelor of Commerce – Accounting and Bachelor of Education degrees, and holds a CPA, CA designation as well as an ICD.D designation, through the University of Toronto, Rotman School of Business.
