Grimsby Power Inc. has applied to the Ontario Energy Board to raise its electricity distribution rates effective January 1, 2022. If the application is approved as filed, a typical residential customer and a typical general service customer of Grimsby Power Inc. would see the following increase:
|Residential 750 kWh||$1.65 per month|
|General Service less than 50kW (2,000 kWh)||$7.35 per month|
Other customers, including businesses, may also be affected.
Grimsby Power Inc. is also proposing to reclassify customers in the General Service less than 50 kW and the General Service 50 kW to 4,999 kW rate classes based on average peak demand and is requesting approval to modify the rate class definition in the respective tariff schedules.
