Enbridge Gas Inc. has applied for approval to construct 1.2 kilometres of natural gas pipeline and ancillary facilities in the Township of St. Clair, in the County of Lambton.
If the application is approved as filed, the project would involve the construction of a 1.2 kilometre, 20-inch natural gas pipeline and ancillary facilities. The proposed natural gas pipeline will extend from Enbridge Gas Inc.’s Dow Valve Site to the Bluewater Interconnect, at a new LaSalle Pipeline Valve Site, south of the existing Bluewater Interconnect Station, in the Township of St. Clair.
Enbridge Gas Inc. is also asking the Ontario Energy Board to approve the form of land use agreements it offers to landowners to use their land for routing and construction of the proposed pipeline and ancillary facilities.
Enbridge Gas Inc. says that the project is needed to serve rising demand in the Sarnia area.
