In a November 16, 2021, letter, the Minister of Energy asked the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) to report back and advise on the design(s) of an optional enhanced Time-of-Use (TOU) rate to further incent demand-shifting away from peak periods to lower-demand periods. 

As part of the development of this design, the OEB is seeking input from stakeholders.

Stakeholder input will inform the OEB’s report back to the Ministry of Energy which the Minister has asked to be delivered by April 1, 2022.
