On December 17, 2010, the Ontario Energy Board initiated a consultative process to review its rate mitigation policy with the objective of providing utilities and the Board with a range of approaches and supporting tools to help mitigate the effects of unavoidable and significant rate and/or bill impacts.
This initiative is part of a coordinated consultative process to develop a Renewed Regulatory Framework for Electricity.
