The government’s filing of the Net Metering Regulation, Ontario Regulation 541/05, triggered the requirement under section 70(6.1) of the Ontario Energy Board Act, 1998 for the OEB to create licence conditions establishing the maximum cumulative generation capacity from net metering generators that electricity distributors must allow to be connected to the distribution system.
