The OEB received a request from the Minister of Energy under Section 35 of the Ontario Energy Board Act, 1998, on July 28, 2003. The Minister requested the OEB to invite Hydro One Networks Inc. to submit, for the OEB's review, a proposal for rebating existing, and new, metered market participants when they make alternative arrangements for the provision of meter services.

As requested by the Minister of Energy, Hydro One Networks Inc. has submitted its proposal for the OEB's review

Based on the evidence from the RP-1999-0044 proceeding, Hydro One Networks Inc., Transmission, has calculated that annual rebates will be $5,700 per meter point and the one-time uniform exit fee will be $5,200 per meter point. Definitions of this these terms are contained in the proposal.
