The OEB has accepted an Assurance of Voluntary Compliance from Entegrus Powerlines Inc., a licensed distributor. The Assurance addresses instances of non-compliance related to the Ontario Electricity Support Program (OESP), including the application of OESP credits to non-electricity charges, refunding excess OESP credits to customers instead of returning them to the IESO, transferring OESP credits to customers’ new accounts rather than returning them to the IESO, and mistakenly returning customers’ deposits to the IESO instead of to the customers.
