The OEB’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Shahrzad Rahbar to the role of part-time Commissioner effective January 1, 2025. Dr. Rahbar joins an existing complement of highly qualified and dedicated Commissioners who collectively work to achieve adjudicative excellence.
The OEB has published its summary of the stakeholder input shared at Policy Day 2024 on October 16, 2024. Discussions focused on a range of current and emerging issues facing the energy sector, including a rate-setting framework for the future, youth engagement, building our energy sector workforce, grid modernization, future utility models and advancing adjudicative priorities.
