On July 30, 2026, the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) issued its Decision and Order which addresses Lakeland Power Distribution Ltd.’s (Lakeland Power) request to recover costs incurred due an ice storm and a lightning storm.
The OEB has accepted an Assurance of Voluntary Compliance from Wyse Meter Solutions Inc., a licenced USMP. The Assurance addresses instances of non-compliance related to disconnection practices under OEB’s USMC rules. This reflects the OEB’s ongoing commitment to consumer protection and fairness.
On July 21, 2026, the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) issued a Decision and Order approving Enbridge Gas Inc.’s (Enbridge) request to construct approximately 22 kilometres of natural gas distribution pipeline and associated facilities in Washago and surrounding areas within the Township of Severn and the Town of Gravenhurst.
