David Butters

Mr. Butters is a seasoned leader with more than 30 years of experience in Ontario's electricity sector. He brings to the Board a wealth of knowledge in board governance, energy regulation, electricity market operations and design, government relations and corporate communications. His background includes managing a key energy industry association in Ontario for two decades, heading the national energy practice at a Canadian corporate communications firm, and acting as Chief of Staff for a federal cabinet minister. He is also a member of the Council for Clean and Reliable Energy.
