Julia McNally

Julia McNally was appointed as a full-time Commissioner as of May 25, 2026. She brings more than 20 years of senior leadership experience in Ontario’s energy sector, informed by deep experience practicing administrative law. Ms. McNally has held senior roles at Toronto Hydro, the Independent Electricity System Operator and the former Ontario Power Authority, working across electricity system planning, sustainability, climate risk, governance and regulatory engagement. Most recently, she was a Director at Toronto Hydro. Ms. McNally is a member of the Ontario Bar and holds a Master of Laws from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Toronto.
