The OEB released an updated variance settlement factor that is to be used by electricity distributors to calculate a one-time credit or charge for consumers who choose to stop purchasing electricity through the Regulated Price Plan. The Final RPP Variance Settlement Factor is updated on or around the 15th of each month.

This Decision and Order follows the passage of the Protecting Vulnerable Energy Consumers Act, 2017 by the Ontario Legislature on February 22, 2017.
