The OEB has selected six projects to receive one-time total funding of $1.5 million to support innovation in the energy sector as part of its Innovation Sandbox Challenge.

The OEB has posted Price Comparison templates for Natural Gas Contracts for Utilities Kingston valid from November 1, 2023.

The OEB has created a webpage containing information on how to access OEB records. A Records Request Form has been created to standardize the process for filing requests for public records. The Records Request Form should be used to request copies of public records from past adjudicative proceedings and/or consultations that are not currently available online. A Freedom of Information Request Form can also be accessed on this webpage.

The OEB has released an updated variance settlement factor that is to be used by electricity distributors to calculate a one-time credit or charge for consumers who choose to stop purchasing electricity through the Regulated Price Plan. This factor is called the "Final RPP Variance Settlement Factor" and is updated on the OEB website monthly.

The OEB has published data files that mimic sections previously found in the Yearbook of Natural Gas Distributors. These files are in Microsoft Excel format and are intended to supplement the previously published Open Data files by providing users with an alternate means of viewing data submitted to the OEB under the Reporting and Record-keeping Requirements.

The OEB has posted its adjudicative reporting dashboard to provide stakeholders with a semi-annual snapshot report for Q1 and Q2 of Fiscal 2023-2024, with a discussion of its adjudicative performance.

Ontario Energy Board announces changes to electricity prices for households, small business and farms.

The OEB has accepted an Assurance of Voluntary Compliance from Niagara Peninsula Energy Inc., an electricity distributor. The Assurance responds to non-compliance with its rate orders related to overcharging customers as a result of a billing system error.

The OEB is proud to release its 2022-2023 Annual Report for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2023.
